Friends of the Princeton University Libraries

Especially useful for those of you who are interested in Princeton University’s library collections (I’m thinking of their archives and deep architecture collections in particular, based on ILL requests), the Friends of the Princeton University Library group is accepting applications for their annual Library Research Grants, up to $3,500 each for research based on Princeton collections.  The deadline is January 15 — see their application process here.

Frick 75th Anniversary

As part of their 75th anniversary celebration this year, the Frick Collection will offer free admission on Thursday, December 16 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.  It’s a great chance to see their permanent collections and current exhibitions for free, and if you can’t visit on the 16th, you can still celebrate the Frick’s 75 years as a public institution with a series of programs, new publications, and an exhibit next summer: more information here.
